Continuous Winding with Faster Roll Changes

The Menzel Turret Unwinder/Winder is engineered to maximize efficiency by enabling rapid, uninterrupted roll changes. This two‑position turret system keeps production moving: while one roll is being wound, a second empty core is already staged and ready. As soon as the first roll reaches its set diameter, the turret rotates 360° to the next position and winding begins immediately. During this transition, the operator unloads the finished roll and loads a new core—without stopping the line.

This design dramatically reduces downtime and increases throughput, making it ideal for high‑volume fabric and nonwoven operations.
