Machinery Sales Engineer

Job Description
Menzel is a manufacturer and fabricator of web handling machinery and other custom machinery and equipment. Since our US origin in 1965, the company has been recognized as a leader in the machinery industry and is known for solid, robust and high-quality installations.
Menzel is looking to hire a successful Sales Engineer to help promote and secure new custom machinery opportunities. The ideal candidate would be an experienced professional capable of hitting the ground running and possess a strong mechanical background. This position would be heavily involved in helping customers clarify their needs and presenting proposals for the best machinery solutions to satisfy those needs. The person would be capable of traveling throughout the US as needed and internationally if necessary for trade shows and customer meetings.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred but extensive machinery sales experience considered.
A minimum of 3 plus years of machinery sales experience or 10 plus years of other custom engineered product sales experience.
Ability to collaborate with customers and Menzel machinery designers to successfully bring needs, ideas and machinery solutions together.
Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
Experience developing machinery estimates and quoting based on established guidelines.
Experience working with CRMs such as ZOHO, Salesforce, etc.
Ability to document opportunities, follow-up for closure and report details through ZOHO CRM.
