In an ongoing effort to address all web handling requirements, Menzel has developed a transportation and storage system for finished rolls. As with the A-frame, these racks are designed to wind and unwind fabric on and off of mounted fixed cores. The big advantage is that these racks are stackable while offering protection to the stored web, making them perfect for expensive and/or easily damaged webs.

Standard Features:

Welded steel construction withstands weight of your heaviest webs while giving you years of trouble-free service.
Racks can be stacked four-high for maximazation of storage space or two-high for loading in common carrier trailers for shipping. The standard 45' trailer will accept thirty-two fully loaded racks making the most efficient use of available space.
Each rack will accommodate a fabric roll up to 40" in diameter and comes complete with a choice of two common core diameters -- 8 5/8" and 16". For velours and other heavy fabrics, we recommend the 16" core for better support, especially during shipping.
Winding and unwinding of this system is made easy with the performance-proven Menzel Centerwinder that you may already be utilizing with our A-frame system.
Electrical torque drives are also adaptable as winders for slow operations.

Optional Features:

Racks can be equipped with a pair of wheels and ball socket for use with our standard A-Frame Jack.
Custom rack and core sizes available.
Variety of winders and brake systems can be adapted to system.
